Tarrant County Rental Assistance Program

Tarrant County Emergency Rental Assistance Program has provided renters and their landlords with millions in rent and utility assistance! Throughout March, they will be hosting in-person rental assistance sessions at libraries within their service area (see attached flyers for locations). During the sessions, applicants can stop by to receive help completing their applications for rental and utility aid. On-site assistance will be available in English, Spanish and Vietnamese. The program is designed to assist eligible renters residing in Tarrant County, outside of the cities of Arlington and Fort Worth, who have experienced financial hardship during the COVID-19 pandemic. Funds may be provided for unpaid, overdue rent and utilities from April 1, 2020, and for future rent, with up to 18 months of rental and utility assistance provided per household. Financial assistance provided through the program will not be considered income.
